Update an FM-1 the other updaters can't find.
For an M-VAVE FM-1 whose MIDI port has another name on your computer, whether you renamed it or something else did. On a Mac, Audio MIDI Setup can keep the name of a different device last plugged into the same USB socket. Updaters that look for the FM-1 by name then can't find it. This page lists every port and lets you pick yours. If your firmware's own updater works, use that.
Firmware
Any .fwsc file. It is read in your browser and goes nowhere else. Flashing is at your own risk: if the FM-1 stays in update mode, replug it and press Finish update.

Your FM-1
Nothing answered under a known port name. Pick your FM-1 in the port list below.
MIDI ports
Every port your computer sees. Only a port you press Try on is sent anything. On a Mac a port can keep the name of another device last plugged into that USB socket; rename it in Audio MIDI Setup (Window, Show MIDI Studio).
No other ports. If your FM-1 is missing, check the USB cable: it must carry data.
Port names the page looks for
A port with one of these in its name is found automatically. Add the name your FM-1 shows up under; it is kept in this browser.
